Causebox Unboxing – Spring 2021

If you’ve been to our site before, you know our love for Causebox. Well, they just changed their name to Alltrue! Causebox, now Alltrue, is a subscription box that sources ethically created and sustainable items at great prices. Each box costs $50 and includes roughly 5-8 items. I highly recommend them and have gifted them for Mother’s Day & birthdays in the past! I may have even requested a subscription as a gift a few years ago. See below for my Causebox unboxing.

I recently received the Spring 2021 box in the mail and thought I would share it with you all. In this box, I received 6 items. They are:
- FEED Project Canvas Market Tote – I love this bag, there are outside pockets for water bottles, sunscreen or any other items along with a roomy interior.
- Palm + Perkins set of 4 Upcycled Napkins – I love wrapping picnic sandwiches in cloth napkins. I also have been starting to use them at dinnertime to cut down on paper napkin waste.
- This Works Stress Check Sleep Spray – This spray is made with essentials oils meant to be calming and relaxing such as lavender. I haven’t tried this yet.
- Stojo Collapsible 16 oz. Cup – I love this cup! It comes with a lid and straw. I use it at home, in the car, pretty much how I would use a regular cup. It also works well on a picnic as you can collapse it and fit it into a small space.
- Three Ships Lip Treatment – Lip exfoliating scrub and buttercream mask. I haven’t tried this yet, but will update this post once I do.
- Adesse New York Power Couple Nail Care Duo – Cruelty-free, vegan and Bunny Certified nail care!

Causebox Subscription Box Review
Here at Today I Need a… we love subscription boxes. The anticipation and fun of waiting for a box to arrive with unique items is our favorite part. Nanette has been a Causebox subscriber for a while now and we promote their boxes as a great gift idea because she loves them. So, after her glowing review, I decided to give it a try and signed up. Here is my quick Causebox subscription box review.

When I signed up I used a coupon code for 20% off making my first Causebox only about $35. That is a great price point! If you are still on the fence about trying it don’t hesitate, just look at all that I received in my box! Box Breakdown: a Pixie Mood crossbody purse made with vegan leather, a set of reusable produce bags, Dime Eyelash Serum and Mascara, Aqua Aura Restorative Eye Cream, a Bento Box, a Calm Mood Mist in Lavender Scent, a Jenni Earle Bandana and floral postcard. All items were FULL SIZE, not samples.

This box was amazing for me in terms of value. All of the items are fantastic in quality, size, and are thoughtful for the environment. I was very impressed and loved opening this box. The beautiful, floral shipping box is easily reusable to store any number of things in my home and I have used all products so far. The only item I wasn’t as interested in was the bandana, but with the pandemic going around I have used it as a face mask!

Well, it’s here – the Summer Causebox! I was so excited to get my Summer Causebox and unwrap all the goodies because I loved the Spring box so much, I just knew this one would be a home run.
