Do you have a Harry Potter fan in your house? We do too! We thought we could make Easter a little magical by creating these fun Harry Potter House Sorting Easter Eggs. These eggs make great decorations, a fun Easter craft and an activity to do on Easter morning. The idea is pretty simple:
First, print and cut out the eggs. Color them in and tape two together leaving a space at the top to insert MnM’s or any candy, confetti, or anything that is a house color such as yellow for Hufflepuff, Red for Gryffindor, Blue for Ravenclaw and Green for Slytherin. Insert candy and tape or staple shut. That’s it! Then on Easter, kids can have fun choosing an egg and ripping it open to find out which house they’re in!
Our Harry Potter easter basket ideas were a big hit last year so we decided to offer a 2021 version. Not to mention, our kids are still obsessed with Harry Potter! All of these Easter basket goodies can be bought online so you don’t need to make an unnecessary trip to the store. Don’t forget, Easter is much earlier this year landing on April 4th!

Easter is right around the corner, less than two weeks actually, and I am not prepared. Because of social distancing right now, most of my kids Easter basket goodies will have to be bought online. So, I thought why not go with a theme especially because my kids are Harry Potter obsessed. We’ve rounded up some fun Harry Potter goodies you can order easily online for both younger kids and teenagers. Check out our Harry Potter Easter Basket Ideas!

Easter is just 3 weeks away and have I gotten anything for my kids’ Easter baskets? Nope. I just don’t get out shopping like I used to anymore. Between work and the kids school and activity schedules I have no time to get out and shop, especially without at least one of my kids with me.
I usually choose an Easter Basket theme each year, something I know the girls are into at the time or something I know will be part of our spring/summer. A few years ago when we were first starting our vegetable garden I bought my girls gardening gloves, watering cans, garden themed books, sunglasses, a garden craft and chocolate carrots. They loved it and couldn’t wait to get started with planting our garden!
So, I thought I would try buying everything online this year and put together a few basket ideas to share with you all as I go. Order what you like, wait for the goodies to come in the mail and then assemble!
Special notes:
1. These basket ideas are candy-free. If you want to add candy it is much cheaper to go to your grocery store or local Target and pick up candy.
2. Some of these item combinations can get expensive when adding them up. Pick one, two, three items – whatever fits your budget or age of your child.
3. Target has Free 2-Day shipping on orders of $35 or more. Amazon has Free shipping for Prime members or for orders $25 or more.
